Yankuang Energy fully implements the New Development Philosophy, seek both external and internal improvement, and pay equal emphasison industrial operation and capital operation, fostering five major industries of mining, high-end chemicals and new materials, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and intelligent logistics, and building three major operating bases of Shandong, Shaanxi &Inner Mongolia and Australia. Looking ahead, it will work to achieve an annual coal production capacity of 300 million tons in 5-10 years, and build more than 8 green and intelligent mining coal mines each with a production capacity ofover 10 million tons.The annual output of chemicals products will exceed 20 million tons. The vision is to realize 3million kW of installed capacity of wind and solar power by the end ofthe “fourteenth five-year plan” (2021-2025), and 10million kW in 5-10 years.[ more ]

Members of the Board of Directors

Mr. Zhang Haijun, born in December 1973, senior accountant, is currently a director of the Company, the Deputy Chief Economist and the director of Strategy Planning Department of Shandong Energy. Mr. Zhang joined the Company’s predecessor in 1996, and in December 2013, Mr. Zhang was appointed as the deputy director (in charge of work) of the finance department of the Aluminum Branch of Yankuang Group and was appointed as the director of the finance department of the Aluminum Branch of Yankuang Group in November 2014, then was appointed as the chief financial officer and general counsel of the Aluminum Branch of Yankuang Group in November 2015. In May 2018, Mr. Zhang took office as the director of the investment development department and the decision consulting center of Yankuang Group. In August 2020, Mr. Zhang was appointed as the director of the investment and development department of Shandong Energy. In May 2022, Mr. Zhang was appointed as the director of the planning and development department of Shandong Energy. In August 2024, Mr. Zhang was appointed as the director of Strategy Planning Department of Shandong Energy. He became the Deputy Chief Economist of Shandong Energy in January 2025. He became the Director of the Company in June 2023. Mr. Zhang graduated from the Party School of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee.
